Amanda Nunes calls it a career following her win over Irene Aldana at UFC 289.
After her win over Irene Aldana to close out UFC 289, Nunes could be heard saying "Double champ forever!" From there, she laid both of her UFC championships down in the Octagon, as well as her gloves.
Nunes announced her retirement from the sport after one more successful defense of the UFC women's bantamweight championship.
Nunes — often considered the greatest of all-time in women's MMA history — ends her career with plenty of UFC records that include the most wins and finishes in UFC women's history, the most knockdowns and takedowns in UFC women's bantamweight history and the fourth-longest single UFC title reign of all time.

Amanda Nunes bids farewell after retaining bantamweight title at UFC 289
After losing her professional MMA debut in 2008, Nunes won six straight as she made her way over to Strikeforce and Invicta briefly before joining the UFC in 2013. She won her first two fights in the Octagon before a loss to Cat Zingano at UFC 178.
Then, we saw the dominant run of Nunes begin. Nunes won another three straight before submitting Miesha Tate in the main event of UFC 200 to win the UFC women's bantamweight championship. Nunes followed by retaining against Ronda Rousey, Valentina Shevchenko and Raquel Pennington.
Nunes then furthered her legacy by quickly knocking out Cristiane Justino (aka Cris Cyborg) at UFC 232 to become UFC women's featherweight champion, making Nunes the third champ-champ in UFC history.
Nunes retained the bantamweight title twice more against Holly Holm and Germaine de Randamie before a pair of featherweight title defenses against Felicia Spencer and Megan Anderson.
Nunes faced adversity when her legendary win streak and reign at 135 was snapped thanks to Julianna Pena at UFC 269, but Nunes got revenge and became a two-time champ with a dominant win at UFC 277.
