DWCS Week 1 fight card, start time, channel guide, betting odds

The popular series Dana White's Contender Series returns for its seventh season on Tuesday, August 8 with a new selection of UFC hopefuls.
On week 1 we'll see middleweight, lightweight, heavyweight and flyweight men fighting for a chance at getting signed by the UFC.
Headlining the card is a middleweight scrap between Cesar Almeida and Lucas Fernando who each boast impressive records. Almeida is 3-0 in MMA but has several kickboxing wins on his record as well. He last fought in MMA in 2021 versus Danilo Souza where he won the fight in just 45 seconds.
His opponent, also Brazilian holds a 9-1 record and holds wins in LFA, Shooto Brazil and other organizations. He fought earlier this year and won the LFA title after knockout out Jansey Silva in the fourth round.
Also on the card is the older brother of UFC fighter Tracy Cortez, who takes on Payton Talbott in a bantamweight scrap.
