With about 72 hours to go before the lights shine down on the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, for UFC 291 and the return of the BMF belt.

But before we can get to the action inside the cage, there will be several fighters who will be competing on the UFC 291 card that will be taking part in a special pre-fight press conference in Salt Lake City.

The UFC 291 press conference will be on Thursday, July 27, and will begin at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT. The press conference can be watched in the video player below (via the UFC's YouTube channel), as well as on the UFC's social media pages and on UFC.com.

The press conference is scheduled to feature UFC President Dana White and all 10 fighters competing on the main pay-per-view card of UFC 291: Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, Jan Blachowicz, Alex Pereira, Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson, Michel Pereira, Tony Ferguson, Bobby Green, Michael Chiesa and Kevin Holland.

Poirier and Gaethje will be squaring off in a rematch of their April 2018 Fight of the Year bout that saw Poirier finish Gaethje in the fourth round.

This will be Poirier's first fight since submitting Michael Chandler at UFC 281 in New York's Madison Square Garden in November. Poirier has won four of his last five and eight of his last 10, with his only two losses in that stretch coming in title fights with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Charles Oliveira. His wins in that time span have seen him defeat the likes of Conor McGregor, Max Holloway, Dan Hooker, Eddie Alvarez and Anthony Pettis, in addition to Gaethje.

Gaethje enters this fight with wins in six of his eight fights since the loss to Poirier — with his two losses in this span also coming in title fights with Nurmagomedov and Oliveira. He most recently fought at UFC 286 in March, scoring a majority decision in a Fight of the Night with Rafael Fiziev. His other victories in this stretch have come against Chandler, Ferguson, Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone, Edson Baroza and James Vick.
