Saturday, April 1 promises to be a huge weekend for boxing and MMA fans alike. One of the UFC's biggest stars Jorge 'Gamebred' Masvidal will be hosting his fourth boxing event under his new promotion, Gamebred Promotions, and it promises to be a huge card with a lot of potential shocks once the action gets underway.
The card sees a total of nine former UFC fighters lace on a pair of 10-ounce gloves, with some even making their professional debut this weekend. No fight is bigger than the main event, when one of the greatest of all times Roy Jones Jr. returns to action against former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis at a catchweight of 200 pounds.
Whilst very few people are giving Pettis much of a chance, he will get to fight in front of his home crowd of Milwaukee in the Fiserv Forum. Prior to the main event, the crowd will be treated to a pair of rematches that took place in an octagon and will now be contested in the squared circle.
UFC Hall of Famer Jose Aldo makes his boxing debut against Jeremy Stephens whilst Jacaré Souza will be looking to defeat Vitor Belfort once again. With so many recognizable figures taking part, it's no wonder that GAMEBRED Boxing 4 is taking the combat sports world by storm.
