UFC Vegas 78: Vicente Luque vs. Rafael dos Anjos full betting odds
The main event this Saturday at UFC Vegas 78 features No. 10 Vicente Luque and No. 9 (LW) Rafael dos Anjos in what should be an action-packed five-round fight. The fight is currently lined at nearly a pick ‘em. Luque is on a two-fight losing streak against quality opponents, while dos Anjos is looking to build on a submission win over Bryan Barberena.
The metrics would also seem to indicate this a fairly even matchup. If you like having action on the main event, the way to squeeze value out of this fight may be to take the side you like to win by decision, which is currently lined at +500 for Luque and +215 for dos Anjos.
Iasmin Lucindo is getting a lot of love coming into this fight for whatever reason. Both women are coming into this fight off of a win, with Viana’s win against Jinh Yu Frey carrying more weight. Lucindo does appear to have better wrestling and a marginally higher striking output, but the largest discrepancy is in the jiu-jitsu realm.
Lucindo is young in her career, which often leads to mistakes. One mistake with arm placement, Viana will throw up an armbar. Viana has six to her name for perspective, and it will be over. Viana money line is nice at +160, but by submission is +350, if you are so inclined.
While it is not a featured bout, Francis Marshall vs. Isaac Dulgarian should prove to be an interesting scrap. It will be Dulgarian's UFC debut. Dulgarian's five professional wins have all come by way of finish, but the pace, volume, and resume of Marshall should prove to be too much. It isn't plus money, but the money line on Marshall is currently at -165 and I would expect it to keep moving in his direction as the week progresses. Marshall for more than one unit, whatever that may be for your bankroll size.
