A women's strawweight battle will top UFC Vegas 73 tonight, as Mackenzie Dern and Angela Hill do battle for the chance to move up in the ranks.

Dern, ranked No. 8 in the UFC at women's strawweight, has won five of her last eight but enters with losses in two of her last three fights. She most recently competed in October in the main event of UFC Vegas 61, where she dropped a majority decision to Yan Xiaonan.

Hill, a long-standing favorite at 115 pounds, has had her fair share of struggles over the last few years, which has seen her gone just 3-5 in her last eight. This included a time where she lost five of six, which included some controversial decisions.

Hill, however, enters ranked No. 12 in the weight class and on back-to-back wins over Lupita Godinez and Emily Ducote.
