One of the biggest fight cards of the year goes down this weekend as UFC 291 rolls through Salt Lake City, Utah. Here are the top 10 reasons why fight fans should tune in for UFC 291.

10. Two pay-per views in one month

July was a busy month in all of combat sports and the UFC was simply the gift that kept on giving. UFC 291 is the fifth event offering from the promotion and is actually the second pay-per view of the month. Though it has happened before, a double PPV month is a rare occasion for the UFC. The rest of 2023 is set to only have one PPV a month so this is an abnormality that fight fans might want to tune in for it.

9. The UFC's return to Salt Lake City

The UFC has only held two other events in Salt Lake City - UFC Fight Night: Rodríguez vs. Caceres and UFC 278: Usman vs. Edwards II. The latter of the two only took place in August 2022 but, less than a year later, the UFC is returning to the Utah capital city. At UFC 278, Leon Edwards pulled a massive upset by dethroning then-champion Kamaru Usman, and that shifted the landscape of the entire promotion. Perhaps another big moment will come of the UFC's return to Salt Lake City.
