6. Israel Adesanya's next title challenger will be detemined

Speaking of Dricus du Plessis' tough challenge against Robert Whittaker, that fight will shift the landscape of the middleweight division. With Adesanya now having overcome longtime foe, Alex Pereira, 'The Last Stylebender' is ready for the first challenger in his second reign. Whittaker has been champion and, with time having passed, he is ready to make an attempt at regaining the gold. Du Plessis, on the other hand, had undeniable momentum on his side and is about to get to the highly coveted UFC 185-pound gold. Whittaker and du Plessis have to go up against each other to get to the champion, and they clash at UFC 290.

5. A high-stakes flyweight rematch

The co-main event of UFC 290 is quite a special one. Brandon Moreno's story over the last two years has been one of triumph and redemption. It's only right that he attempts to overcome an opponent that he's yet to defeat. In July 2016, Moreno faced Alexandre Pantoja in an exhibition match at Ultimate Fighter. The two met once again in 2018, and Pantoja was the one who walked away the victor once again. Since then, things have changed and Moreno is at the top of the flyweight division and his next challenger comes forward. The rematch between Moreno and Pantoja is a high-stakes affair, with the 125-pound gold on the line, as well as a potential end to their feud.
