In a battle of two of the most popular stars boxing has to offer, let alone at 135 pounds, Gervonta Davis proves why he is one of the top dogs of the lightweight division.

Davis knocked out Garcia in their fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

After a bit of a feeling-out process in the first round, albeit one where Garcia had more activity, Garcia tried to get things going in the second round but was dropped by a left hand from Davis.

Davis was the aggressor in the third, working with his jab, before starting to target the body with quicker and crisper strikes in the fourth. Garcia let his hands go more in an even fifth round before picking up the pace and landing effective punches on Davis in the sixth.

That same sixth round saw "Tank" continue to work the body, and that paid off in the seventh. There, a quick left from Davis forced Garcia to drop to a knee, unable to answer the referee's count of 10.
