The Ultimate Fighter returns to our screens on May 30, bringing one of the show's most anticipated seasons in recent memory. The reality show has seen its popularity dwindle in recent years, but with Conor McGregor, the biggest star in UFC history, and Michael Chandler, one of the most exciting fighters in the promotion, taking on coaching duties, there is sure to be plenty of eyes on the show.
While many will tune in to see McGregor and Chandler, and their eventual fight inside the Octagon is one of the biggest selling points of the season, there are eight bantamweights and eight lightweights ready to steal the show and leave a lasting impression. All 16 men will be doing their utmost to prove why they belong in the UFC, competing for the illustrious Ultimate Fighter title and a UFC contract.
One man keen to earn his way into the Octagon is Nate Jennerman, an experienced fighter in the 155-pound division, ready to realize his dream.
Who is The Ultimate Fighter 31's Nate Jennerman?
Despite being 30 years old, Nate Jennerman (16-5) is actually one of the younger lightweights set to compete for a UFC contract on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Representing Roufusport MMA Academy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the American brings a wealth of experience with him into the show and he has proven he is more than capable of performing under the bright lights, with his latest victory coming at PFL 4.
Currently on a three-fight win streak, Jennerman has momentum on his side and has picked up a victory over UFC alumni, submitting Kevin Croom via Guillotine Choke in just 48 seconds. In fact, with 12 of his 16 wins coming via submission, it's safe to say that he is a submission specialist and is much more comfortable on the mat, than he is striking, where he has only picked up one victory by way of knockout.
One thing is for sure, though, with just three of his victories going the distance, Jennerman is almost always an exciting watch, making him one of the more must-watch competitors in the upcoming season.
