Conor McGregor shares early photos of him facing off with future opponent and fellow The Ultimate Fighter season 31 coach Michael Chandler.
The 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) is still just over two months away from hitting the airwaves, and there already has been a significant amount of drama and controversy. It's probably not a surprise considering one of the names partaking in the program is former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor.
In his second coaching stint on the show, McGregor will be opposed by Michael Chandler. The pair have dissed one another in media appearances since both were announced as coaches.
On March 19, McGregor took to social media to share early photos of him and Chandler facing off in front of UFC President Dana White.

The intense photos shared by McGreogr spot him and Chandler staring each other dead in the eye, with a couple of them even showing the two sporting similar, aggressive-looking grins.
This season of TUF has already drawn quite the controversy and coverage thanks to reports of McGregor having certain fighters removed in favor of those he wanted in, as well as reports of at least one scuffle between McGregor and Chandler during show filming.
A coaches' fight between McGregor and Chandler does not have an official fight date to it yet. McGregor reportedly has not even had any USADA testing yet, and the two sides have been in quite the dispute.
The fight would serve as McGregor's first since breaking his leg during his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. Chandler will also come into this TUF season off a loss to Poirier, suffering a third-round submission defeat to him in November at UFC 281.
