The Ultimate Fighter will return to our screens on May 30 with one of the most highly anticipated seasons in a very long time. The 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter culminates in a massive main event between the returning Connor McGregor and one of the most exciting UFC fighters in recent history, former title challenger Michael Chandler. Whilst a date for that gargantuan encounter has not been set, the 16 competitors in the TUF house will be showing us throughout the season exactly who deserves to walk away with the Ultimate Fighter title. One of the 155-pounders looking to etch his name in UFC history is Landon Quiñones, a man who comes into the TUF house at his best moment.
Who is The Ultimate Fighters' Landon Quinones?
Fighting out of the legendary MMA gym Kill Cliff FC, formerly known as Sanford MMA, Landon Quiñones (7-1-1) heads into The Ultimate Fighter with the experience of training with world-class MMA fighters, many of whom are fighting for belts or have titles around them. After a shaky start to his career that saw the little momentum he had gained flushed away by a loss, Quiñones is now on a five-fight win streak and hopes that this momentum can carry him him all the way into the finale.
Primarily fighting under the Titan FC banner, Quiñones has proven to be a problem for any lightweight in the promotion given the power he packs. The man named 'The Lone Wolf' has finished six of his seven professional victories, including four KOs during his five-fight win streak. The experience that Quiñones has from training with some of the best MMA fighters in the world, plus ruthless finishing ability, ensures that he will be one of the fighters to watch when May rolls around.
