Conor McGregor was fuming after his stablemate, Lee Hammond, lost via submission in the second round. Things got heated between McGregor and Michael Chandler afterMcGregor shoved Chandler in the face. Dana White stepped into the octagon to break it up.

Hammond was close to ending Team McGregor's losing streak after a strong first round but the gritty veteran, Kurt Holobaugh, sealed another victory for Team Chander. Team McGregor's hopes shift to Landon Quiñones, a 7-1-1 Florida-based fighter who trains out of Kill Cliff FC, one of the more popular MMA gyms.

Jason Knight will hope to keep Team Chandler's streak alive. There are several examples of prospects who moved up too fast, and Knight could be one of them. At just 30 years old, Knight takes a 22-7 record into TUF 31.

Landon Quiñones vs. Jason Kight could be a war

Landon Quiñones is a good striker with several finishes under his belt. But in this fight, his footwork and defense will matter most. The only person to ever finish Jason Knight is Ricardo Lamas. Knight was a 4-5 UFC fighter with respectable names on boths sides of the coin. He has a win against Dan Hooker and his UFC debut was a loss against Tatsuya Kawajiri, a legend in Japanese MMA.

Quiñones does benefit from the two round format. He will need to be on his bicycle and avoid the clinch and grappling exchanges. If he can keep this fight on the feet and make the most of his strikes, He has a chance to surprise a lot of people.

Knight's experience for his age is impressive. He was always known for taking too much damage, but improved defense with his pressure could be exactly what he needs to take his game to the next level. He lost to some of the UFC's best fighters, but renewed confidence with some added experience makes Knight a strong candidate to go far in the tournament. It will start with a second round submission of Quiñones.

Prediction: Jason Knight via second round submission
