After years of will they, won't they, ONE Championship will finally make their US debut this Friday, May 5, live from the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado. Everyone's eyes will be on the three title fights lined up, each one in a different combat sport, and the return of Demetrious Johnson to American soil following his departure from the UFC to close out the show.
Before the final portion of the card begins, Stamp Fairtex (9-2) will make the walk towards the cage but before that, get ready for the Fairtex experience. ONE Championship has followed in the footsteps of PRIDE FC, allowing their athletes to have huge entrances filled with screens, pyrotechnics, whatever outfit they want to wear, and do whatever they feel like doing. The stage is theirs.
No fighter takes this more seriously than Fairtex as her entrances have become the most recognizable in modern combat sports history, particularly when she does her now iconic 'Stamp Dance'.

Why Stamp Fairtex is ONE Fight Night 10's fighter to watch
Ever since Fairtex has joined ONE Championship, all she has done is be a pioneer for the rest of the company. In her first fight under the banner, she became the ONE atomweight kickboxing champion, defeating Chuang Kai Ting in Fairtex's home of Thailand.
Fast forward five months later to February 2019 and Fairtex became the inaugural ONE atomweight Muay Thai champion, becoming the first ever athlete in ONE Championship history to simultaneously hold two belts in different combat sports. Although she has now lost both of her titles, that has more to do so with her full transition into MMA.
Already having elite level stand up game, Fairtex has been hard at work to improve her ground game. She won gold at the Siam Cup BJJ in jiu jitsu in 2019 and two years later, she would have the chance to prove just how much she had rounded her game out.
She would enter ONE's atomweight world grand prix for a chance at champion Angela Lee. Although Fairtex was easily the biggest draw of the grand prix, not many people actually gave her too much of a chance if she had to face an experienced grappler.
She proved everyone wrong not only by winning the WHOLE GRAND PRIX but also by defeating Ritu Phogat, an elite wrestler, by submission in the second round. Fairtex was again understimated when she faced Lee for the title.
Although Lee would submit her in the second round, Fairtex proved she could hang with the best that MMA has to offer, almost finishing Lee in the first round after a sickening body shot. She has since picked up two more wins, one in MMA and one in kickboxing, to continue her ascend up the rankings in all three of ONE Championship's combat sports.
When a light-hearted entrance meets explosive violence, you get Stamp Fairtex. Whether it is piecing up her opponents on the feet or dragging them into submissions, Fairtex can do it all. She faces Alyse Anderson in an MMA bout this Friday, May 5 and you'd expect nothing more than another impressive showing from Fairtex.
