The highly anticipated debut of ONE Championship on American soil is finally here. This Friday, May 5, ONE Championship presents ONE Fight Night 10, live from the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
For fans of the Singapore-based MMA promotion, their US debut is a show they have been waiting for a long time to show the rest of the world why ONE Championship should be considered among the best that combat sports has to offer. Thankfully for ONE, they now have a main event with a known commodity and a huge rivarly at stake.
Former UFC flyweight champion and current ONE Championship flyweight title holder Demetrious Johnson (24-4-1) faces Adriano Moraes (20-4) in an epic trilogy bout with the belt on the line. With both men holding vicious knockout victories over each other, the animosity between the two has been building since their August 2022 rematch that saw Johnson take Moraes' title away.
This is not a card that is relying on its star studded main event. The co-main sees Muay Thai legend and current ONE Muay Thai flyweight champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon (270-42-10) take on Edgar Tabares (32-5-1) for the former's title. The return of Sage Northcutt (11-3) to action for the first time in four years is one of the many reasons to tune in this Friday.
