Is Conor McGregor ever going to fight Michael Chandler?
Conor McGregor is supposed to return to the Octagon sometime this year to fight Michael Chandler but the longer that fans wait for a fight announcement, the more they think it's never going to happen.
McGregor needs to be in the USADA testing pool for six months before he will be cleared to fight but, at press time, he's still not done that. Just last week UFC president Dana White confirmed that the fight would be announced sometime during the airing of The Ultimate Fighter.
But a new video and collection of photos of McGregor partying it up in Europe have led fans to finally give up hope.

I still have no faith in the idea that Conor is actually fighting again so he’s basically already retired. Jon is a terrible human being so I’ll be glad to see him gone. Somehow I always seem to miss max fights and Izzy is prob my fav fighter rn so Izzy.

Several fans commented on posts about McGregor.
"Conor has reached a point in his life where drugs and alcohol mean more to him than fighting," a fan tweeted. I’d be surprised if he makes it to the octagon again but if he does Chandler might send him to a final retirement.
Can’t wait until people stop giving that coke head Conor a platform. That dudes never fighting again lol

McGregor hasn't fought since his 2021 loss to Dustin Poirier. In that loss he broke his leg and many felt it would be a career-ending moment.
