It wouldn't be a normal day in MMA if Conor McGregor wasn't accused of something.
On Tuesday McGregor shared a collection of images from a day at a pub in England with the caption "Pamela McGregor. Woah," with the praying and heart emojis. TMZ reported that he was attending a funeral.
But those photoa quickly turned into an accusation that McGregor got into a brawl in that pub.
According to TMZ, the incident occurred at The Saddle Club in Birkenhead, England and police are investigating what happened after they were called to the club just before 8 pm for "reports of an altercation."
"Officers attended the pub and spoke to a number of people," cops said in a statement, per the utlet. "Further enquiries are being carried out to establish what has taken place but at this stage no complaints have been made and nobody has been arrested."
A video has been circulating on Twitter showing McGregor and his bodyguards leaving the pub, which is said to be located in.
The pub in which the incident allegedly occurred released a statement on Facebook on Wednesday.
"Subject to speculation Mr McGregor presented himself as a gentleman would when attending a family funeral," the statement reads. "He was courteous, polite and well mannered to all our staff and members when in communal areas through the time he was here, taking pictures, signing autographs and donating to certain charities on behalf of the family. When the incident occurred,Mr McGregor was upset by the actions of certain people attending the funeral and Mr McGregors security detail decided it necessary to leave to avoid unnecessary speculation and attention."
They went on to ask for privacy and mentioned that," any incidents that do occur are handed to and dealt with by the police directly."
Conor McGregor pub fight rumors
A TikToker shared a voice memo of someone saying the brawl was due to McGregor getting caught having sex in the bathroom with a man's girlfriend.
There were several different videos circulating that were allegedly the brawl in question, but some have disputed them as legitimate.
Everything should be taken with a grain of salt as it's not be confirmed by anyone with authority, but with McGregor's past, it wouldn't be shocking that these reports have at least some merit.
