On the sixth episode of The Ultimate Fighter season 31, we saw Conor McGregor's team suffer its sixth straight loss after teammate and friend Lee Hammond lost to Kurt Holobaugh via submission.

Things got personal really fast for McGregor who dropped to his knees after the loss. After the results were read the two coaches began jarring with each other, Michael Chandler poking the bear by pointing out yet another loss for McGregor.

"Stacking 'em up, baby," Chandler said. "Not against me you're not," McGregor fired back.

"Some of these kids were in the UFC before you were in the UFC," McGregor says as the men come nose to nose.

Chandler then asked Conor to "show up for them" pointing out the former champion not showing up to weigh-ins for Hammond. Then the moment that had been teased all season happened and McGregor shoved Chandler in the face after telling him he was going to break his nose.

"Are we going to do this? Are we going to fight right now?" Chandler says as McGregor removed his suit jacket.

UFC president Dana White then runs into the cage yelling, "get out of my way" as he sends Chandler and his team out of the cage.

The irony of the whole thing is that Hammond wasn't even supposed to be on the show but McGregor cut other fighters who had already been cast to make room for his friend ... for him to lose in the first fight.

Chandler couldn't resist digging at McGregor at every turn, first for missing another weigh-in, then for suffering another loss.

"Another Conor no-show at weigh-ins," Chandler said on the show. "For me it's always going to be important because I want my guys to see me there. I'm gonna cut the weight with them, I'm gonna hold their hand if they need me to hold their hand, be there for them ..."

After the moment with McGregor, Chandler went over to his team and told them all, "I would have been there for you" delivering one last dig.

In his confessional McGregor says he didn't just leave the team, he left them with the best of the best. Two of the winners from Chandler's team, Roosevelt Roberts and Cody Gibson also hurled insults at McGregor on his way out of the building.

With just two more quarterfinal fights left, McGregor is stepping up the training in hopes of finally getting his first win.
