The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is back with yet another mouth-watering event filled with former MMA stars. This Saturday, April 29, live from the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado, BKFC 41 presents Mike Perry (2-0 in BKFC) welcoming the debuting Luke Rockhold into their patented 'square circle.'
That's right, your eyes are not deceiving you. Former UFC welterweight 'Platinum' Mike Perry will make his light heavyweight (175 pounds) debut against the former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold in a bare knuckle boxing fight. Perry's talent were always expected to land him at BKFC given his desire for violence but it is definitely not a place I ever expected to see Rockhold, never mind that he would face Perry in his first bout with the promotion.
Whether you believe the sport to be gimmicky or not, it does not take away from the fact that BKFC is putting on some exciting fights that are sure to make every fan tune in. Not only will we see Perry take on Rockhold in the main event but Eddie Alvarez clashes against Chad Mendes in the co-main event. The BKFC women's flyweight title is also on the line and Ben Rothwell makes his second appearance under the banner, making BKFC 41 an event you do not want to miss!
