Marcelo Golm and Daniel James will both look for a huge victory that can move them one step closer to a title shot in the heavyweight division when they collide in the main event of Bellator 293.
Golm, who is currently ranked No. 5 at heavyweight in Bellator, has won four straight since parting ways with the UFC in 2019. This includes both of his fights thus far in Bellator, which has seen him score a first-round TKO of Billy Swanson at Bellator 265 and a second-round submission of Davion Franklin at Bellator 283.
James, the No. 8 fighter in the Bellator heavyweight rankings, had runs in the ACA and LFA before joining Bellator last year. In his promotional debut at Bellator 288 — in his hometown of Chicago — James pulled off an unbelievable comeback upset, scoring a second-round finish of Tyrell Fortune.
