The world of combat sports has seemingly changed forever with the UFC-WWE merger finalized. This saw the birth of TKO Group Holdings which was formed by Endeavor, and it is made up of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Zuffa, which is the parent company of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Bringing together the world's biggest professional wrestling promotion and the world's biggest mixed martial arts promotion, TKO holds a lot of promise for combat sports. With the two sports working together, the possibilities are limitless and, amongst many other things, the athletes have the platform to move across promotions and explore a different sport.

Over the years, the two promotions have had a close connection as there have been some athletes who have moved from one to the other. The likes of Ken Shamrock, Ronda Rousey, and Brock Lesnar are just a few among many who have made the jump between the combat sports giants.

TKO now offers the opportunity for new athletes to make the crossover between the promotions. Here are the top five that we need to see.
