2. Bo Nickal

Bo Nickal does not have the MMA experience that the other fighters on this list have but his credentials in the sport of wrestling are legendary.

Nickal was a three-time NCAA wrestling champion for Penn St. University compiling a career record of 120-3. He was also a three-time Big 10 conference wrestling champion. He had success on the senior level as well winning the US Open and competing at the USA Wrestling event: Final X, for a spot on the USA National wrestling team.

Just five fights into his young MMA career Nickal has absolutely shined with each step up. He has secured takedowns in three of his five fights and finished all three by submission. The other two fights he finished by strikes both in under 40 seconds.

As his striking improves and he gets more comfortable on the feet, Nickal will always have his excellent wrestling to fall back on. His grappling transitions have been sublime so far.
