18. Anthony Kiedis

I think at this point Anthony Kiedis has attended more live MMA events than he has Red Hot Chilli Peppers concerts. He’s almost as important at a UFC event as the fighters themeselves!

To call Kiedis a super fan, would probably be an understatement. He’s even given Alexander Gustafsson a shoutout during a concert. The RHCP frontman is also part owner of the UFC (just like Matt Damon) which means he’s really got a reason to love the UFC.

But it isn’t just that promotion he attends, he’s also been spotted at regional promotions throughout California, sitting cage side and scoping out the up and coming talent.

You can even see UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov invite Keidis to spar at AKA… which is slightly terrifying.

It seems that the fighters respect Kiedis as much as he respects them, at least according to Kelvin Gastelum, who spoke to MyMMANews.com.

“I was at the fights in Sacramento and I went up to the Red Hot Chili Peppers lead singer Anthony Kiedis to introduce myself and he said ‘Hey, I know you! I’m a big fan!’ That was really cool. I have been a big fan of his group and now he’s telling me he is a big fan of me. That was a really cool moment.”
