17. Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato has been seen sitting cage side since she was dating Wilmer Valderrama, which seems like an eternity ago. Once the pair broke up many thought she’d stop attending — but in fact her fandom increased.
Lovato began dating former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold shortly after he won his title. The relationship didn’t last long but they were the hottest UFC couple while it lasted. Lovato even began training in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and MMA around that time, proving her fandom runs deep.
She achieved her blue belt at Jay Glazer’s Unbreakable Gym in Los Angeles after spending hours on the mat with some of the greats like Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture. She even briefly voiced her desire to take a fight, but that never came to fruition.
“I’m more proud of the work [Demi] puts in with nobody watching than I am what she does with the world watching,” Glazer tweeted in regards to her getting a new rank in BJJ.
Lovto is often spotted cage side at Bellator events as well and even dated Guilherme Vasconcelos, a top Bellator competitor. That relationship ended as well, but she still supports both of MMA’s biggest promotions.
And to top it all off, Lovato sang the National Anthem at the biggest combat sports event in history — Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor.
