When and where is the PFL Finals 2023?
After almost two months of regular-season action, the PFL finally began its playoffs. With two more events underway, now is the time for the promotion to start planning for the championship event.
We already know the match-ups for the light heavyweight and featherweight divisions. Jesus Pinedo will face Gabriel Braga and Josh Silveira will fight Impa Kasanganay later this year. The other four divisions will be decided over the next two weeks.
When is the PFL Finals?
The PFL Finals date was announced shortly after the first PFL Playoffs event concluded. It will take place on Nov. 24, 2023, which is the day after Thanksgiving, also known as Black Friday.
Regarding start times, last year's event began at 6 p.m ET with the prelims, composed entirely of showcase fights, with the main card of tournament finals (plus a showcase fight) at 8 p.m ET. All fights will air on ESPN+, unless they deviate from last year.
What venue will host the PFL Finals?
Ever since it was created from the remnants of the World Series of Fighting, the PFL has preferred one venue for its Finals, the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York. Only once has it not been held there. In 2021, it was held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Hotel and Casino near Miami, Florida.
This year's playoffs have been held in two venues. The first week occurred in San Antonio, Texas. But the upcoming two weeks will move to New York City, so it seems unlikely they will return to the same venue for the finals.
Some cities that have been rumored are Miami, Washington D.C., Chicago, Puerto Rico or even somewhere overseas. We expect the location will be announced at the conclusion of the playoffs.
