When is UFC 300?
2023 has passed its halfway point and with less than 10 numbered events until UFC 300, it's time to start getting hyped for the promotion's third centennial event.
Nothing has been announced yet as far as a date but it's getting close enough that we can start to look at the calendar and plan that work vacation. Looking back at the previous two centennial events, UFC 100 and UFC 200, both took place in July.
UFC 290 and UFC 291 both take place in July of this year. If we look ahead and assume that each month is a scheduled numbered event UFC 300 would land in April 2024. However, the UFC will probably stick with tradition and make the centennial event as big as possible.
International Fight Week July 6, 2024 is our best guess for UFC 300.
In 2016, leading up to UFC 200, the UFC held UFC 195 in January and then skipped February to hold UFC 196 in March which led to their 2nd centennial event happening in July. They could do something similar next year as well.
Conor McGregor, Jon Jones, Israel Adesanya are all great options to highlight a stacked UFC 300 card
The UFC has stacked its past two centennial events with title fights and mega stars such as Brock Lesnar. Even this far out it's fun to start fantasy matchmaking for the card. Could we see the return of the sport's biggest star, Conor McGregor? Jon Jones was on UFC 100 and was scheduled for UFC 200, perhaps he headlines the event. Budding superstars such as Bo Nickal or Paddy Pimblett could be options as well. Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk as the main card opener could really raise some feathers.
There are tons of great fights we can dream of.
The dream is not too far away either, so get ready.
