Who is Wesley Santos?

Everything you need to know about Mackenzie Dern's estranged husband, Wesley Santos.

Wesley Santos is a name that more hardcore MMA fans will know, but if you're a casual (no shame) watcher or not into the personal lives of fighters, you may not have heard of him.

Santos is known to the MMA community as Mackenzie Dern's husband, who she is going through a difficult divorce with. Dern has talked about the alleged physical abuse she suffered while married to Santos, who she shares a child with. To be clear, he refutes her claims and, in turn, has accused her of abuse.

But outside of being married to a fan-favorite MMA fighter, Santos has his own fame.

Like we said above, Santos shares a daughter, Moa, with Dern who was born in 2019.

Santos is also a professional surfer who, according to World Surf League is ranked No. 33 with a 7.46 average heat score. It looks as though he completed most recently at the SLO CAL Open at Pismo Beach in 2023 where he placed 65th. Before that, he places 33rd at the SLO CAL Open at Morro Bay.

Not much is really know about Santos outside of his surf record and whatever Dern says about him. But he is active on Instagram, posting photos on the beach and with his daughter.
