Watch the UFC 290 press conference: Who, what, where and when? (Video)
We're only a couple of days away from the highly-hyped UFC 290 card, which tops the list of events that help make up this year's edition of International Fight Week.
But before the fighters involved in the card make their way to the Octagon for their heavily promoted showdowns, some of them will take part in a special pre-fight press conference in Las Vegas.
The UFC 290 press conference will be on Thursday, July 6, and will begin at 6pm ET/3 pm PT. The press conference can be watched in the video player below (via the UFC's YouTube channel), as well as on the UFC's social media pages and on UFC.com.
The press conference will feature all 10 men who are scheduled to compete on UFC 290's main card: UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez, UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno, flyweight title challenger Alexandre Pantoja, Robert Whittaker, Dricus du Plessis, Jalin Turner, Dan Hooker, Bo Nickal and Val Woodburn.

The press conference will also feature former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and Niko Price, who will face off as the featured preliminary card bout in what will also serve as the retirement fight for the legendary Lawler.
This will be Volkanovski's first fight since falling just short of capturing the UFC lightweight title when he faced Islam Makhachev at UFC 284 in February. Since winning the featherweight title off Max Holloway at UFC 245, Volkanovski has defended against Holloway (twice), Brian Ortega and "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung. Rodriguez, who has won four of his last six, became interim featherweight champion at UFC 284 by submitting Josh Emmett.
Moreno will be defending the flyweight title for the first time since regaining it with his stoppage win over Deiveson Figueiredo in January at UFC 283, putting that rivalry to bed once and for all. Figueiredo is the only man to have defeated Moreno since Moreno's return to the UFC in 2019.
Pantoja, however, does hold two victories (only one official over Moreno in the past). Pantoja submitted Moreno in 2016 when the two faced off as part of The Ultimate Fighter season 24. They then faced off at a UFC Fight Night in May 2018, with Pantoja earning a decision win. Pantoja comes into this title fight off a submission of Alex Perez at UFC 277 last year.
