Watch Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili's heated face-off.
The bad blood between Russia's Petr Yan and Georgia's Merab Dvalishvili has boiled over ahead of their UFC Las Vegas main event.
On Friday, during the official face-offs, the pair were trash-talking when Yan suddenly went for Dvalishvili's throat. The UFC security and matchmaker Sean Shelby stepped in to pull them apart but they were still heated even across the room. As Yan was being pulled by security backstage Dvalishvili broke free from the security holding him back and charged after Yan. They were separated again without incident.
Their beef stems from both political and personal incidents between the two men and look to be the making of a wild main event, if the energy sticks.
Shortly before the faceoffs the rest of the UFC Las Vegas card weighed in for their bouts. Two fighters missed, and one fight was canceled as a result.
