Paul Craig defeated Andre Muniz via TKO (elbows), Round 2 - 4:40 at UFC London on Saturday, July 22, 2023, live from The O2 Arena in London, England.

Craig had spent his entire UFC career at light heavyweight. Despite being ranked ninth in the light heavyweight division, Craig decided to drop down to middleweight. On Saturday he made his Octagon debut at the new weight and he looked phoenomenal.

Craig looked absolutely shredded and he did the same to his opponent. In the second round, Craig took top position and reigned down several strikes and elbows until the referee stopped the fight.

Craig will be ranked in the middleweight division when the new rankings are released on Monday. With his victory, Craig improved to 17-6, with one draw. All 17 of Craig's victories have been finishes, with 13 submissions and four knockouts. Muniz's record dropped to 23-6.

The new weight class was not the only change that Craig made prior to Saturday's fight. Craig had his nose fixed, allowing him to breathe easier and get more oxygen into his body. Craig publicly disclosed that he had undergone a hair transplant and gleefully spoke about his new hair as well.
