On Thursday night, during an MMA event in Lima, Peru, a fighter injured himself during his walkout. Yes, you read that right. He injured himself before the fight even started.
Miguelito Grijalva was doing his run around the cage when he jumped in the air and landed awkwardly before falling to the canvas in pain.
You truly can't make this stuff up. Last night at FFC 64, Miguelito Grijalva blew out his knee after entering the cage for the main event. Fight cancelled on the spot. #FFC64 pic.twitter.com/QLBNEvuoyO

According to Tapology, Grijalva injured his foot but several people on Twitter called it a knee injury and that's what he appears to be indicating in the video as well.
The event, FFC 64, is the second canceled bout in a row for Grijalva who is currently undefeated 8-0. His last win was a split decision over Mauricio Ariel Pare at Samurai Fight House 9 in February.
