On Friday night Titan FC hosted a fight card and we may have just witnessed the fasted KO in MMA history.

Luis Hernandez knocked out Brian Topp in just one second with a head kick that sent Topp to the canvas and the fight was called off.

But, it wasn't without a bit of controversy.

It looks like Hernandez and Topp were going to touch gloves to start the fight, which is sometimes customary and a sign of sportsmanship and respect.

But Hernandez took that moment to fake the glove touch and KO his opponent when his guard was down.

Additionally, though the official result was one second, it clearly took at least two seconds for the fight to be called, maybe even three.

Either way, it's still a heck of a lot shorter than the fast KO in UFC history, a five-second KO of Ben Askren at the hands (knee) of Jorge Masvidal. At that time, people felt the KO came faster than the five seconds announced, but the official time is what matters.

After the finish you can see fans right up against the cage, shaking the cage walls celebrating the moment.
