Watch as 2 fighters fall out of cage mid-fight (Video)

It's fair to say that Josiah Harrell and Mike Roberts didn't intend for their fight to go viral for this reason. The two men met at LFA 160 when they made a moment that will live on forever, but we're not entirely sure they meant to do what they did.

Like a scene out of the WWE, the two fighters did their best pro wrestling impersenation, when Harrell was able to shoot on Roberts, drive him into the cage door, and somehow blow the door open. The two men spiraled onto the ringside area, luckily neither falling off and getting seriously hurt.

The fight would resume and seconds later, Harrell would be able to take Roberts' back and end the fight with back-mounted strikes.

You don't see cage doors popping open every day

To say this is a rare sighting would be an understatement. We're not entirely sure what happened as of press time, but it was likely an issue with the cage door being properly closed and latched completely, as the takedown attempt didn't seem to be unusually aggressive. It's very possible that the sheer force of the attack caused the door to non-verbally tapout before anyone else in the fight, but due to the fact it was less than a minute into the final round, it's more than likely an error when the teams and crew left the cage between rounds.
