UFC Vegas 75 results & highlights for Marvin Vettori vs. Jared Cannonier [UPDATED]

A pair of former middleweight title challengers are looking to continue their rebounds and attempt to inch closer to another shot at gold, as Marvin Vettori and Jared Cannonier square off in the main event of UFC Vegas 75.

Since his failed attempt to wrestle the gold away from Israel Adesanya at UFC 263, Vettori is 2-1, pulling off decision wins over Paulo Costa and Roman Dolidze — with a decision loss to another former champion in Robert Whittaker sandwiched in between.

Between November 2018 and February 2022, Cannonier had won five of six, with victories over the likes of Anderson Silva, Kelvin Gastelum and Derek Brunson — with his only loss in that span also coming against Whittaker. This led to Cannonier's challenge of Adesanya during last year's International Fight Week at UFC 276, a fight which Cannonier lost by decision. In his one fight since, Cannonier earned a split decision victory over Sean Strickland in December.
