UFC fighters spent their free Saturday night watching the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat

Saturday is usually the time when fighting is the biggest sports story of the night, but the NBA stole the show with an incredible game between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.

Boston Celtics guard Derrick White came up HUGE for Boston with a putback layup to win the game and force a game seven in a series where they were down 3-0. Boston now has the rare chance to become the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-0 deficit while also booking a trip to the NBA Finals against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.

The Celtics led the game all night, while Heat stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo struggled mightily to find any rhythm despite the rest of the team coming through in huge ways. Butler eventually got it going in the 4th quarter, and Miami was able to come back from Boston’s 10-point lead with three minutes left in the game.

Unfortunately for Miami, the team that most fighters were rooting for, three incredibly clutch game-tying and go-ahead free throws from Jimmy Butler were all for none as White was able to swoop in off of a Marcus Smart missed three-pointer to hit a putback layup and win the game.

It is not surprising to see that the Heat were the team that most fighters were rooting for, as Miami is home to many big named fighters like Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington, and most famously, “The King of Miami,” Jorge Masvidal. Miami is also home to American Top Team, which features fighters such as Dustin Porier, Bo Nickal, and Sergei Pavlovich.
