UFC Fight Pass 4 Invitational fight card, start time, channel guide & more
Professional grappling is heading back to UFC Fight Pass with UFC Fight Pass Invitational 4 set to go down on Thursday, June 29. This showcase features an eight-man tournament with a $30,000 purse up for grabs. Along with that, there are several other matches that feature names fans of competitive grappling will recognize and watch in action.
The tournament features Haisam Rida, Dan Manasoiu, Felipe Andrew, Vagner Rocha, Gabriel Arges, Fedor Nikolov, Nicky Rodriguez, and Pedro Rocha. There is a lot of talent across the bracket with potential for upsets. Rodriguez stands out as the favorite in this event, as he’s picked up several major victories in his career including winning two silver medals at ADCC. Andrew is an IBJJF world champion, and another name to watch in the tournament.
The main event of the night brings out Craig Jones to take on Felipe Pena, two of the biggest names in grappling today. UFC fans can see how Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira face off against each other when punches and kicks are not a part of the rules. Two-time NCAA champion, Roman Bravo-Young makes the jump from wrestling to submission grappling as he takes on UFC flyweight, Alex Perez. The 16-year-old standout, Helena Crevar will also take a big match against Emily Fernandez.
