8. Second chances all around the card

The UFC 291 card features 12 fights, which is slightly less than usual pay-per view offerings. A number of the fights on the card provide opportunities for a comeback. All the way from the preliminary card to the main card, there are fighters who are looking to bounce back from a recent loss. This could see the most determined versions of these fighters walk into that octagon on Saturday night, and that could make for an exciting night of MMA for fight fans around the world.

7. A plethora of welterweight action

Between the prelims and the main card, there are five welterweight fights happening at UFC 291. This means that over 40% of the action that fight fans will witness on Saturday night will be produced by the 170-pound division, and this could see a lot of movement take place in the rankings. The welterweight division is one of the most exciting in the UFC and, at present, it could even be debated that it is one of the most unpredictable. All these welterweights will be looking to make sure they move up in the rankings, not lower.
