Following the fight, the UFC aired a tribute video to Lawler, introduced by Joe Rogan, replaying some of the most memorable moments in the career of Lawler, which began all the way back in 2001 when he was just 19 years old. Just one year later, Lawler made his UFC debut.
An emotional Lawler thanked the fans, and said he would be forever grateful.
