Everything you need to know about UFC 288's fight card including results and highlights.

For the first time since retiring in the Octagon almost exactly three years ago, Henry Cejudo returns looking to become UFC bantamweight champion once again, as he challenges Aljamain Sterling in the main event of UFC 288 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

After long-standing rumors, Cejudo has come out of retirement and is looking to reclaim the title he gave up years ago. He's also hinted at going after Alexander Volkanovski and the UFC featherweight title, attempting to become a champ-champ again and become the first UFC fighter to win titles in three weight classes.

Cejudo went on a six-fight win streak prior to retirement. Part of his win streak saw him become the one to finally dethrone long-standing inaugural flyweight champion Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson at UFC 227 via a narrow decision.

Cejudo successfully retained the title against T.J. Dillashaw in the main event of UFC's first-ever ESPN+ card before finishing Marlon Moraes at UFC 238 to become a champ-champ by capturing the then-vacant bantamweight gold.

Cejudo's final fight prior to tonight saw him retain the 135-pound title with a finish of Dominick Cruz.

Sterling — who is from nearby Long Island, New York — enters this fight with an eight-fight win streak. Sterling won the title under dubious circumstances against Petr Yan at UFC 259, becoming the first UFC fighter to win a championship off a disqualification. Sterling retained the belt in a rematch with Yan at UFC 273 and with a finish of Dillashaw at UFC 280.

This story will be updated live throughout the night.
