Ronda Rousey rumors: Is the former bantamweight queen making her UFC return?

Rumors have been swirling that former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey might be making a return to the UFC.

These rumors come on the heels of Rousey's comments disparaging the WWE, where she is currently signed. Some think she might return for the UFC 300 event but at UFC Vegas 77 media day we got another hint into the possible plans of Rousey.

“There really is no bantamweight champion,” Chelsea Chandler told FanSided when asked about the state of the bantamweight division. “But I’ve been hearing Ronda’s coming back at ‘45. So, you never know."

That news sparked a lot of interest from another former bantamweight champion, Holly Holm, who also appeared at the UFC Vegas 77 media day on Wednesday.

Holm said she'd happily welcome back her former opponent, but she wasn't so sure she would actually make it.

So the bottom line is ... we don't know for sure if Rousey will come back, we'll have to wait for something official from the UFC before we can cross that bridge.
