28. Mac Danzig

Mac Danzig competed in and won Ultimate Fighter 6: Team Hughes vs. Team Serra, fighting for Team Hughes. Danzig was 16-4-1 prior to joining the show and beat Joe Scarola, John Kolosci twice, and Tom Speer all by submission to win the welterweight tournament. Danzing would return to lightweight and go 5-7 throughout his UFC career, hitting two separate three-fight losing streaks before announcing his retirement in 2013. Danzing would come out of retirement in 2017 but hasn't fought since.

27. Efrain Escudero

Efrain Escudero competed in and won Ultimate Fighter 8: Team Nogueira vs. Tim Mir, fighting for Team Nogueira. Escudero was a perfect 10-0 before joining TUF and beating Phillipe Nover in the lightweight final. Escudero would go 3-2 in his first UFC stint, being released from his contract after missing weight.

Escudero would go 5-1 after being cut and return to the UFC as a short-notice replacement but after losing two in a row, Escudero was released again. Going 4-3 after his release, Escudero returned for a third run in the UFC, going 2-3, last fighting at UFC 197. Escudero has a modest 9-8 record in the organization and has since bounced around other promotions like the PFL, last fighting in 2022.
