The PFL's season style format continues with yet another stellar fight card. On Thursday, June 8, live from the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, the featherweights and light heavyweights continue with their second round of fights in the 2023 season.
The 145ers and 205-pounders began the season with PFL 1 in what was an exciting start to the year. Unfortunately, many of the fighters we were keen on following throughout the season, such as Rob Wilkinson and Thiago Santos, have failed drug tests in what has been a huge scandal for the PFL.
Fortunately for the PFL, some of their biggest stars will continue to hoist the promotion's flag with dignity. Such is the case for this week's main event, which sees the 2022 PFL featherweight champion and the face of the PFL, Brendan Loughnane (27-4) take on Jesus Pinedo (20-6).
A number of UFC veterans also compete on Thursday, such as Marlon Moraes (23-12-1) and Chris Wade (22-9), as well as fan favorite Bubba Jenkins (20-6) in an event that will begin to shape the PFL playoffs for the respective weight classes.
