MMA fighter calls out LeBron James, Tiger Woods for PED use

Chael Sonnen says LeBron James and Tiger Woods are both using EPO.
It's never a dull moment when it comes to MMA drama but this is a new one.
Chael Sonnen has called out Lakers star LeBron James and GOAT golfer Tiger Woods accusing them of using performance-enhancing drugs.
While appearing on the FLAGRANT podcast on Tuesday, Sonnen admitted he used PEDs in the past and other professional athletes are using the same drugs.
“They got some performance enhancers like if the world understood what LeBron did, like other basketball players will hear what LeBron does and go ‘yeah that doesn’t matter,'” Sonnen said. “It’s like a baseball player; you’re hitting a stick at them. It doesn’t matter.”
He went one step further and said he knew LeBron was using because they get them from the same person. And then dropped another big name.
“We have the same drug guy,” Sonnen said. “I know exactly what he’s doing. There’s only one golfer that follows the big three, and the big three is EPO (erythropoietin), growth hormone, testosterone. That’s the Lance Armstrong diet. There’s one golfer, but it’s Tiger Woods.”
Fans might already know what EPO is thanks to TJ Dillashaw taking it (and admitting it) in 2019.
“EPO matters; it’s the reason LeBron takes it. It matters,” Sonnen said. “EPO increases your red blood cells. Which gives you endurance so you can play all game long. You can shoot the fourth quarter just like you shot the fourth minute. It’s the king of performance enhancers.”
For the record, James has never failed a drug test, at least not that the public has been made aware of.
Chael Sonnen once called LeBron James a 'dork'
This isn't the first time Sonnen has gone after LeBron either.
In 2013 Sonnen was in hot water when he referred to James as a dork and not a world champion.
"I think LeBron's a dork," he said on The Jim Rome Show (h/t Bleacher Report). "He won one world championship, and that was in the Olympic Games. It's so aggravating to hear a title be called a "world champion" when it's only done in America. It's not a global event where the whole world can participate. You didn't win a world title. You won a national title."
He also revealed that LeBron said something inappropriate to his wife backstage at his fight.
"This guy walked up to my fiancee backstage and asks her if there’s a Tic Tac in her blouse or if she was just happy to see him," he told Bleacher Report in 2013. "I had a UFC employee tell me he saw a mother wheel her handicapped child up to him to get a picture. LeBron was walking towards them. When he reached the kid, the mother stopped the wheelchair. LeBron took the wheelchair, wheeled it out of the way and kept walking. I'd like to slap the divots right off his face."
