Bellator is on the fast-track to its 300th PPV, and the event scheduled for the month of August is Bellator 298. The event will take place at the Sanford Pentagon arena in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with Logan Storley and Brennan Ward serving as the headliner of the 17-fight card.

Bellator 298 is a stacked card all around featuring a host of exciting fighters looking to prove themselves. One half of the preliminary card's closing act will be the cannot-miss standout fighter that is Lucas Brennan, and he is the fighter to watch at the event.

Lucas Brennan had an undefeated run on the amateur circuit before quickly making his transition to being a professional. Brennan's pro debut took place at Bellator 224 in July 2019 and now, just over four years since then, he has gone undefeated in all eight of his fights and is ranked amongst the top featherweights of Bellator.

Fighting out of Texas, Brennan is a fighter that many could say was born for combat sports. Chris 'The Westside Strangler' Brennan is the father of the fast-rising star, and also serves as his coach. Lucas Brennan has made a name for himself in Bellator as 'Skywalker', and is moving up the featherweight rankings with every performance.

Brennan could be considered a submission specialist with six of his eight wins coming by way of tapout. With a combination of rear naked chokes, anaconda chokes and assassin chokes, Brennan makes good use of his first degree Jiu-Jitsu black belt.

'Skywalker' takes to the Bellator cage this Friday against Weber Almeida, as he looks to move up from his number 8 position in the 145-pound rankings with yet another captivating performance in their feature prelim bout.

For all those reasons, Lucas Brennan is the fighter to watch at Bellator 298.
