Celebrities who train MMA: Jay Glazer
Jay Glazer is most known for his role as a newscaster for Fox Sports. Glazer covers the NFL but has upped his MMA game as an announcer and host for the UFC and now Bellator. Glazer is joining the Paramount Broadcast team for upcoming Bellator events. The news was announced in Jan. 2019. A longtime fan of mixed martial arts, Glazer has taken his passion and put it to work becoming a trainer.
Glazer works alongside the biggest names in sports. He opened Unbreakable Gym in California with his business partner, former UFC champion Randy Couture. Together they train some of the biggest names in Hollywood including, Demi Lovato, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Pratt, The Rock and more.
Glazer can often be seen training clients in boxing, kickboxing, and strength on his Instagram. His love of the sport comes out in his training. He can mix his love of both MMA and football, by training athletes of all shapes and sizes in the cage and out of it.
Glazer himself has had two fights, both for Reality Fighting back 2003. He went 1-1 with a submission victory by punches in his only win. What we have learned about MMA trainers is that sometimes the best coaches have not been the best in the cage, as is the case with Glazer. His passion and happy clientele vouch for the fact he is successful at what he is doing.
