Celebrities who train MMA: Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg is the kind of guy who does whatever he wants. The king of the music game for many years, Snoop made his splash into the world of MMA behind the desk. Snoop, a longtime fan of MMA and more so the UFC, had the opportunity to have his thoughts and opinions on the sport heard as part of the SnoopCast commentator team with former UFC fighter Urijah Faber. Snoop and Faber commentated the summer series Dana White Looking for a Fight on UFC Fight Pass.

Snoop’s comments were greeted with strong feelings form the MMA hardcore fans. Either people liked what he was saying or they hated it. Many fighters felt that Snoop’s comments were disrespectful to fighters, but Snoop was just saying what was on his mind. As a novice in fighting himself, Snoop expressed his opinions as a fan and an athlete.

Snoop has been training in boxing and kickboxing for several years. He would post training videos on social media. Several months ago Snoop posted a video of his “First Fight.”

Snoop might need those fighting skills if he keeps making enemies of fighters. Following the main event of UFC 228, Snoop posted a video of himself watching the fight and bad-mouthing Darren Till, calling him a “ding dong.”

Till responded to Snoop in a post of his own.
