Justin Gaethje roasts Michael Bisping as 'unprofessional' after 'biased' Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman commentary
Justin Gaethje is going after a UFC color commentator and he's not holding back what he thinks.
While appearing at the UFC 286 post-fight press conference Gaethje took aim at UFC Hall of Famer and former champion, Michael Bisping for his commentary during the Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman fight.
“I thought [Usman] won the fight,” Gaethje said (h/t MMA Fighting). “But I’m probably as biased as the judges. Certainly not as biased as Michael Bisping, who shouldn’t have been nowhere near a microphone during that fight. It sucks.”
He didn't go into details about what exactly Bisping said or did re-iterated his feelings when asked if he thinks the commentary team should opt-out of working fights with teammates or friends.
“It’s not my call,” Gaethje said. “I just thought it was very unprofessional.”
Gaethje isn't the only one who criticized Bisping at UFC 286. Several fans tweeted that he appeared drunk, or "off" due to several flubs on commentary. There's absolutely no proof that he was drinking, despite what fans thought.
