Jake Paul's coach shot in armed robbery, hospitalized (VIDEO)

BJ Flores, the coach for Jake Paul was shot in Colombia during an attempted robbery.
Jake Paul's head coach, BJ Flores, was robbed at gunpoint and hospitalized after being shot during the crime.
According to Flores, who posted a video from the hospital, he was stopped at a red light in Medellin, Colombia when someone put a gun to his head while trying to rob him. During the struggle he was shot in the leg.
"Tonight I was attacked by 2 armed motorcycle drivers as a passenger at a RED LIGHT," he wrote alongside s video of his leg being worked on and an X-Ray showing the bullet in his leg. "They pulled up, stuck a gun to my head, tried to steal my wallet and my watch. They shot me one time in the leg and I defended myself the best way I could . I am still in the emergency room waiting to have the bullet removed at 5:18 am. Thank you for the well wishes . I will learn from this….. Be safe out there please. Life is precious. I love you all."
Jake Paul's MVP issues statement after robbery
Several fighters and coaches replied to the post wishing him well.
Mike Perry wrote, "Oh man you a G."
Famed coach Dewey Cooper wrote, "Wow BJ; I am glad that you are ok. Definitely be careful out there and take care of yourself."
Paul's promotion issued a statement writing, "MVP is grateful that Coach Bj Flores is safe after the attempted robbery against him. Please join us in wishing him a fast and healthy recovery."
Paul is coming off his first ever professional loss, a split decision defeat to Tommy Fury just over a month ago.
