Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford make weight ahead of their super fight
With much of the discussion amongst boxing circles being the weights of Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford throughout the fight week, those conversations can now cease as both men came with the welterweight limit of 147 pounds.
Keith Idec from Boxing Scene reported that Spence Jr. came in at 147 pounds while Crawford came in at 146.8 during an official weigh-in that was closed to the public inside the MGM Grand. With these huge events in Las Vegas, usually, the official weigh-ins take place in a remote location where the fighters, their teams, and officials from the Nevada State Athletic Commission are the only ones allowed to be in the room.
Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford will stream live on PPV
Later today at the T-Mobile Arena, Showtime will stream the ceremonial weigh-in live from all of their social media platforms. The event is open to the public and will be the last opportunity to sell the fight that will take place in that same arena tomorrow night on Showtime PPV.
