Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford announced for July 29 in Las Vegas
According to ESPN's Mike Coppinger, the mega fight between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford will take place on July 29 in Las Vegas, NV.
The moment has finally arrived, or so we think, for one of the biggest undisputed fights that could be made has crossed the finish line, according to ESPN’s Mike Coppinger. Unified welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs) and WBO champ Terence Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs) will finally face each other at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV on July 29. This has felt like it’s been in negotiations for over a year, but the thought of such a fight has been discussed in many boxing circles for years prior to that.
Boxing fans have been at a point where they were fed up with the rumors and the reports of the fight being agreed upon or almost signed. Coppinger broke the news earlier this evening, mentioning that both fighters will receive “eight figures” for this massive fight and that it’s a two-fight deal regarding Crawford’s commitment to the Premier Boxing Champions company. Although a source revealed to FanSidedMMA weeks ago that the working date was July 29th and the venue was the T-Mobile Arena, there still was a level of uncertainty as we all have gone through the rollercoaster of emotions when it comes to this fight announcement.

There were hints that the fight would be officially announced as Spence Jr. posted yesterday on Instagram Stories “First Day” while Crawford was pictured with Gillie and Wallo, who have one of the biggest podcasts out called “Million Dollaz Worth of Game.” Crawford wouldn’t be interviewing with them if he didn’t know an announcement was imminent.
According to Draft Kings, Crawford is the favorite at -135, while Spence is the underdog at +105. This is truly a 50/50 matchup and one for the ages. The question that everyone will be asking from now until July 29 is, ‘Who are you picking? Spence or Crawford?’
